MV Juanita - Port BowThis pretty little cruiser is eagerly looking for a new owner. She's a project, completed so far as the hull and cabin are concerned. All she needs to provide you with years of happy cruising is a motor, drive train, steering gear and interior finishing.

The Society's marine surveyor went over her last winter. Here is his report:

Instructions To Purchasers

Please note that we are a volunteer society. This means that we turn out to put some of our discretionary time, at no pay, into a variety of restoration projects. We are not there all the time, or even every day! If you show up without an appointment on a weekday you may very well find the gate is locked or the people there do not know anything about the sale. So, to rules to avoid disappoinment:

1. Make an appointment by e-mail with me, the webmaster.

2. Plan to show up on a Saturday, between 10:00am and 3:00pm.

Other important rules:

3. All sales are on a cash or cheque basis. We are too small to collect GST but we must collect PST. Make sure to add 6% to your planning for the Provincial Government.

4. All sales are on an "as is, where is" basis.

5. All sales are final. No refunds, no returns.

More Than We Can Use

Britannia Heritage Shipyard and its rich array of exhibits and equipment exist because of the remarkable generosity of the citizens of Stevestion, Richmond and beyond. We are the grateful beneficiaries of tools, vessels and materials donated by enthusiastic and generous supporters of our little corner of history. Occasionally we receive so many items that we can no longer use them or even find space to store them. When that happens, we have an opportunity to pass along our good fortune and, at the same time, put a bit of cash in the kitty for specialty items that don't get donated. Things like anti-fouling paint for vessel bottoms or blades and bits for saws and drills.

Please don't worry - we never dispose of items that have genuine historical or archival significance, either by sale of other means.

If you would like to acquire an item listed below, please read the Instructions to Purchasers given above.
